I think this coaster is really cute when it's stitched out, however there are a few problems with the instructions and stitch out.
- color #7 - I had to manually pick out the black stitching along the outside edge of the body/red fabric - after the eyes stitched - because I didn’t want to risk it showing through the red satin stitch around the outside of the design. I would prefer if these stitches were removed from the design.
- color #8 - I’m missing the tack down stitch all together (.vp3 files)because I don’t have a color #9. Color #8 in my design is what you describe in instruction #11 as the “satin stitch around the coaster”. I stopped my machine after the zig zag portion of color #8 and trimmed all the fabric (front & back) and then stitched the rest of color #8 which is a satin stitch around the outside of the design. It would be much easier if these 2 steps were separate color stops - as described in the instructions.
