The holes are not big enough for a regular size candy cane to fit. Very disappointed

Easy to make and to modify, too

I needed quick ornament gifts for a number of grand-nieces & grand-nephews, so I chose this gingerbread ornament. I liked being able to make 3 at a time in my 5" x 7" hoop. I also liked that I could make the pink mouth, white, (with frosting) and the green button, red (like red hot cinnamon candies). I did the first batch with the buttonholes for candy canes, but discovered that holes were just a bit too small, so omitted them from the other 18 ornaments I made. With green ribbons (and no candy canes) these were darling ornaments and could be mailed in a card addressed to each child!
